The seven principles below apply within Body & Shape Store™.

6. Confidentiality and security: we ensure that reasonable technical and organisational measures have been taken to protect your personal data against misuse, unlawful loss or unauthorised use, disclosure or access.

7. Sharing and international transfer: we may share your personal data within the Body & Shape Store™ group or with third parties (such as commercial partners and/or service providers), solely for the purposes of this policy. We take appropriate measures to ensure security when sharing and transferring that data.

4. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

We need certain data from you, such as when processing information requests and when you visit our websites. In these cases, we process data. We also make use of third parties who receive certain personal data and process it on behalf of Body & Shape Store™. This occurs, for example, for the sending of your confirmation, the dispatch of brochures and mailings, the sending of personalised offers or the processing of a survey you receive from us after going live.

We may need to contact you. We call if there are questions, and may send you a message, for example.

b. IP addresses

On the internet, we or third parties on our behalf may look at your IP address. We remember your preferences and can thus provide appropriate advice. This may also be used for fraud protection.

5. WHEN IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED?

Personal data may be collected on various occasions, including:

- Online forms (contact forms, questionnaires, Body & Shape Store™ pages on social media, network sign-ins such as registration via Facebook, etc.).

7. HOW AND TO WHOM DO WE GRANT ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

a. Within Body & Shape Store™ we may share your personal data and grant access to it to authorised personnel within the group, including:

- IT departments

- Commercial partners and marketing agencies

- Legal services, where applicable

b. With service providers and partners: your personal data may be transferred to a third party for the purpose of providing services and improving your experience, such as external service providers, IT subcontractors; always solely for the purposes described herein.

c. Local authorities: We may be required to send your data to local authorities if required by law, or as part of an investigation and in accordance with local regulations.

8. HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA DURING (INTERNATIONAL) TRANSFER?

For the purposes of article 7 of this policy, it is possible that we transfer your personal data to recipients who may reside in countries with a different level of personal data protection.

Therefore, Body & Shape Store™ has also taken appropriate measures to ensure a secure internal transfer of your personal data or to an external recipient located in a country with a different level of privacy than that in the country where the personal data is collected.

9. HOW DO WE SECURE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Body & Shape Store™ takes all appropriate technical and organisational measures, in accordance with applicable legal provisions, to secure your personal data against misuse, unlawful loss or unauthorised use, disclosure or access. To this end, we have implemented technical measures (such as firewalls, monitoring of file access), a robust username/password system, physical security, etc.). Should a data breach occur despite these measures, we have a procedure for reporting it appropriately.

We also expect external parties that process personal data on our behalf to have implemented the required contractual and organisational measures to do so in the most secure manner possible, and that they too ensure your data is processed solely for the purposes described herein. We will formalise this as much as possible and, where possible, also monitor compliance. In addition, we maintain an up-to-date overview of these external parties and the specific data they process on our behalf and for what purpose.

10. WHAT ARE THE LEGAL BASES FOR OUR DATA PROCESSING?

The law recognises various so-called legal bases for processing personal data. These mainly concern the processing of data on the basis of:

- a contract;

- a legitimate interest of Body & Shape Store™;

- a given consent;

- a legal obligation.

We use your data primarily in connection with information requests and therefore on the basis of a contract with you. Additional contact moments, such as reviews, marketing activities and the recording and analysis of your actions, occur in connection with a legitimate interest of Body & Shape Store™. You can also subscribe to a newsletter yourself. In that case, you give us permission to use your data for this purpose. Furthermore, there are also legal obligations, such as the inclusion of your data in the night register.

13. HOW DO YOU GAIN ACCESS OR INSIGHT INTO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

You have the right to access your personal data as collected by Body & Shape Store™. Upon request, we will inform you whether and which personal data we process about you. Furthermore, you can request this data and, under certain circumstances, have it corrected, supplemented, deleted or shielded, for example if it is incorrect. This may result in you no longer being able to make use of (part of) our services or us being able to serve you less effectively.
